La-Z-Boy’s Motion furniture allows loungers to customize the position of their back, legs, head, and lumbar support. However, their control panels were confusing, and multiple users who share the same chair found themselves fiddling with settings every time someone else used the chair.

Our solution showcases a commitment to user-centric design. We created quick-access top zone with Memory buttons to save favorite positions, and a Home button to return the chair to a non-reclined position with one button press. The modern, ergonomic form feels secure in all hand sizes, and oversized buttons are easy to control, even in low light or for older users with limited dexterity. A magnetic cradle in the side of the chair keeps the remote accessible without adding clutter to end tables. The Cradle features a Find Me button to make the Remote beep and illuminate in case it is lost, and a USB port for charging.
