Hospital-grade nasal aspirators that really suck.
As a pediatric ENT, Dr. Steven Goudy empathized with parents who came to him with infants and toddlers who were struggling with colds that had developed into more serious infections. He knew their colds would resolve without complications if they had a hospital-grade nasal aspirator at home.
We designed the NozeBot®, a powerful, yet safe and easy-to-use nasal aspirator. With 3 suction levels, parents can start with low suction and increase the power as needed. Flexible tubing connects the aspirator to the nosepiece, keeping the pump/motor noise at a distance to reduce baby anxiety. The silicone nosepiece stays on the parent’s forefingers, freeing the thumb and ring fingers to stabilize wiggly infants and resistant toddlers. The nosepiece is dishwasher-safe and includes a filter to prevent mucous from contaminating the hose.
Following the success of the original NozeBot®, the team designed a portable version for on-the-go use. NozeBot® On-the-Go features a slightly smaller pump and operates on AA batteries. The hose wraps around the device, and the nosepiece tucks into the front, creating a tidy package that easily slips into a diaper bag.
