As a pediatric ENT, Dr. Steven Goudy was concerned that mold growth in humidifiers could spread allergens in the home. He had an idea to deliver mist through a transducer mounted at the top of the humidifier, eliminating the pool of water in the base that is the main source of mold.

Our design for the BreathEZ™ humidifier continually pumps water through the system, further discouraging mold growth. When the humidifier is turned off, the pump clears water from internal tubing, eliminating yet another mold source.

BreatheEZ’s mist is directed horizontally, so that when placed on a dresser or changing table it creates a microclimate of humidity directly where it is needed: around the child. A smart sensor detects the humidity and automatically adjusts it to the ideal level recommended by pediatricians.

The clean aesthetics of the humidifier are designed to complement modern nurseries without looking like a medical device. The perforated housing reveals the water level, and the internal tank easily removes for refilling at a sink.
