We designed the Guardian badge to be inconspicuous to avoid escalating situations. It is worn behind the standard hospital ID badges, blending into the healthcare professional's daily attire. The ergonomically contoured Alert button is located on the back, allowing staff to discreetly activate the alert by simply grabbing their stack of badges and feeling the button in a single, swift motion, without looking down.

Duress alerts are prioritized by Cognosos’ dedicated communications channel, running independent of hospital wifi to prevent delays. Now healthcare professionals can focus on providing care with the confidence that their safety is just a discreet touch away.
