Cognosos’s Asset Trackers leverage AI and precise location technology to help hospital caregivers immediately track equipment availability and location down to the exact room, eliminating the frustration and time wasted searching for equipment. Our mission was to design a durable, unobtrusive enclosure to withstand the demanding hospital environment.

We designed a sleek, low-profile tracker that securely attaches to mobile medical equipment—from bedside devices to diagnostic and imaging tools. The tracker simply slides and locks into a holder installed on the equipment, but requires a specialized tool (conveniently designed to fit on a keychain) for removal. The low-profile form minimizes the risk of catching on door frames or surgical scrubs, ensuring it is not accidentally dislodged during fast-paced hospital routines. The enclosure’s materials withstand harsh cleaning chemicals, ensuring longevity.
